where does the main quest start?
hi,
I just watch the searing, and I delivered this message to Warmaster Tydus. But after that, he just gives me a quest. Is that what i'm supposed to do? Where do i go to start the main storyline? is there one? Thanks, Dan |

I think what you'll want to do next is take the "defend the wall" (I think it's called) quest and that'll take you to the next part of the storyline.

Do the first quest. In the area of the ambasitor and south of there (Sardelac Sanitarium) you may find quests that will give you skills. Check along the wall to the west there is another guy with a quest that may give you skills. Then do defend the wall. After that have fun in the 10 and under arena (Ascalon Arena) for a while if you want. Soon you will get to Piken Square where there are lots of quests, and Fort Ranik where there is another mission.

so there is a real storyline, right? this isn't freeform? because I'm heading into "defend the wall", and i'm wondering if there will be no more places to go after that.

Ohhh... There's plenty more places to go after that. Plenty.

Like everyone else already said, Defend the Wall brings you to the next area with storyline.
What hasnt really been answered is your question "is that what Im supposed to do?" Seems like a yes/no question, but its not. There is really no "supposed to" in the game, you can literally zone out of any zone in the city and have at it. Exlore areas, find new towns, find new quests, enjoy the scenery or kill that baddie. However, if you are only interested in the main plot line, Defend the Wall will set you on your way. Good luck. |
