ok i made my 1st guy hes a cute little necro did alot of the missions right after u get out of pre searing then my friend got the game so i started a new char to do stuff with him and just to lvl with him.....
well anyway now i have played it so much its almost as good as my main but the question im asking is y cant i find missions, on my old guy it just kinda put me in em or all i had to do was talk to a guy but on this guy after newb world havnt done 1 mission yet...... shouldnt there be some at ascalon..

also what does it men when towns on the map are glowing or flashing

You'll have to do the Defend the Wall mission at the Northern Wall, which you get to from Ascalon City. Just go out the exit labeled "Northern Wall". Once you're there hit the enter mission button and you'll be on your way.

I think mission map symbols flash when you're in the area if that's what you're asking about. Can't remember for sure, though.
