I have tried to ask many people as to where the armorer is in fissure/uw ...

I am not sure if there is one in UW, but from my gathered information there is one in fissure. From what I was told he is past the temple of war not the spider caves as I have been told. I was with a group and we cleared the temple but back doors did not open... apparently we did not have the quest, where do you get the quest to clear the temple so the doors open? from Rastigan? I never noticed him giving another quest after you kill those undead mobs guarding that guy accross the bridge.

So my question is... is there a armorer in fissure/uw?

if so what is the chain of events that has to occur in order to make it to the armorer?

if there are alternate paths, I would just like to know the most direct path to the armorer?

From what I understand this armor supposively looks different then the 15k armors in granite citadel and grotto... is this true?

Cost of armor? is it 15k or more per piece? Materials? I heard it uses globs of ectoplasm?

Heh good luck on the friggin defend the armorer mission. My group was down in the fissure for 8 hours last night/this morning. We had 2 runs and now are pretty confident we can make the armor on our third run. You just have to keep completing the quests in order. But I say good luck because the mission glitched on us the first time w/ only 8 waves of enemies not 9 waves. The 2nd time the NPC didn't spawn until we completed another quest, and then when he spawned we had to split 5 mobs up into 3 groups (2, 2, 1) to get our 3 last "waves".

Very annoying

Might of been in the same group had this happen to me a few days ago but are group did it much quicker... 2 hours tops... now you might ask how did we do that so fast... well for one its hard to find a group that solely wants to find the armorer and not jack around with the other pointless quests. Most groups want to kill the 1st boss for the 5k and chest, which is no big deal you have to clear that area anyway, but then they wanna do the 2nd rastigan 10k quest after, thats a waste of time IMO if you just want to find the armorer, because its in a different direction.

Now when you say armorer are you referring to the forgemaster? he appears just like you say in the temple of war after you clear it, and that is because you take the quest from the weaponsmith at the tent after you just clear some mobs. Yes like you said there arnt enough waves to finish this quest, but if your smart you see some mobs behind the locked door at the back of the temple of war... so just have your elem time their AOE's because there is a shadow monk back their healing and once you kill the guys behind the gate... it opens... the forgemaster is not the armorer though, atleast after this part we didnt notice him having any armor to make for us, from what I have gathered from a few players is that the armorer is past the spider cave (path to right) since the road forks after you go out the backdoor of the temple of war or you take the left path to a volcano area. At this point though both of are primary monks had to sleep and bailed and me being the only elem monk earth healing protection are group of 6 couldnt go much further, so we sprinted to see if we could find him, 1 warrior went left the other right, they made it further then the rest of us, but not far enough, we didnt see any armorers in the distance.

Anyway boss, hope that helps you the next time you have a group that is going to armorer, if you ever put together a group solely for armorer you can pm me..... Hyd Dy ... elem monk

or if anyone else has any additional info would be greatly appreciated

Ok... after just so happening to run into the right person at the right time, I have seen screenshots of the armorer. Apparently I was totally wrong and misinformed.... THE FORGEMASTER IS THE ARMOR! I am so suprised, after you defend him and kill the last wave you can then buy armor from him. Which I thought and was told the armorer was further, I feel so stupid now. I never talked to the forgemaster twice after completing quest.
