confused... Savage Shot vs Distracting Shot
Savage shot does not have a cast/prep time, and Distracting Shot's prep/cast time is listed as "3/4" (I assume this means 3 quarters of a second).
My first question is how come I seem to fire a Distracting Shot *much* quicker than a Savage shot? the animation looks 2x as fast at least! Both shots interrupt "actions" Distracting has a bonus if the interrupted action was a "skill", while Savage shot has a bonus if the interrupted action was a "spell"... which leads me to my next question. Am I correct in assuming Distracting Shot will deal 14 damage when it hits, no matter what (provided my target was performing an action) since all actions are skills? I read page 123 of the manual and got confused by the wording. I'd appreciate it if someone could explain this to me. |

That probably means that Salvage Shot only activates on your next attack, while Distracting Shot can be activated within 3/4 of a second anytime during an action.
And yes... Distracting Shot deals that amount of damage no matter what your target was doing. |

Btw, not every action is a skill. You might just hit a foe that was plain "attacking." The only difference there would be that when you hit a foe using a skill, the skill is disabled for a little while.
