Level 9 is about right. You,ve stayed in Pre long enough. I think I left at level 7 or 8.

i posed this question and was a lvl 8 (almost 9), at a 9 just go. your gonna be hard pressed to find experience anymore in pre. if u have all your spells and are like a 6 or 7 your plenty fine. get all your belt bags /pouches now as well, your inventory will fill quickly. go to storage first and spend 50gp to access the vault to store stuff as well.
my guild recently wanted to all start together all over and are leaving when we all get our spells and are a lvl 7. |

With my first toon I left at 7, but now whenever I make a new char I try to leave by lvl 4... it's all a matter of what you want to do. If you are level 9 though, you dont have to worry about post-sear kickin yer arse.

If you rush through all the quests with a little combat here and there, you end up about lvl 8 when you leave. I've been through there so much I've formed a habit around doing them, so I end up doing it without thinking about it, but it's not all that necessary to do everything, especially if you've done it before. The exp can be nice, but exp isn't a huge deal in this game.
I'd say the important things are the skill quests for your professions. Even still, it seems like some of those skills are rewards again for some of the post searing profession quests. The only thing I would discourage is hanging around in pre-searing fighting stuff to level up. It's a huge waste of time. Quests can usually be done pretty quick and the exp rewards from them add up to a significant amount, so they're worthwhile, if you feel like doing them. |
