I'm a lvl 13 Elem...I just bought some upgrades for a staff. +20 Health wrapping and a +1 energy shaft head. And I was wondering if I should use them on the staff I have now or wait for something better...
The staff I have now is: +8 energy, dmg 10-17, customized for +20%. I think it's a pretty good staff...but because I customized it I can never sell it to a player. What do you think?

Use it.

None of the add-ons you menton to the staff are rare (you will be able to salvage these lots of times, and very soon you will be using rarer staves that are FAR surperior in both damage (11-22) and have decent "bilt-in" mods as well.

In fact... at that level, and with that staff, you are FAR better off sticking to wands and off-hand focus icons, IMHO.

progress through some of the missions and staffs will start dropping with an automatic +10 energy in them (raven staffs etc.) so i would wait tbh.

Those upgrades are pretty blah. If you had something valuable I'd say to just use it, but toss those in now and don't think twice about it.
