I'm male and play male characters.
I tend to roleplay a good bit and let's face it... I'll never understand women and have come terms with it My wife will attest to that However, I may create a psycho female necro modeled after my ex-wife... or a select ex-girlfr.... uhhh acquaintance |

I'm a male and my main character is a male elementalist.
I do, however, have a levle 7 female warrior alt. I just can't stand the look of male warriors. Except perhaps for warrior and monk, I like the look of all the male classes |

I'm a male and I have 2 male characters and 2 female characters. Personally, I agree with your sister in that more female characters are male players. I know many males who, besides their "main" character who is male, have 3 female characters.

i'm a guy and my main character is a female warrior. if i'm going to spend all that time staring at someones backside i'd rather it be a female.
my second character is a female mesmer, but i haven't gotten very far with her. i just kept making her bow over and over again. |

I am female and have 4 female characters though I wouldn't mind trying a male Ranger later on. My friend is male and he plays females.
I, too, wish we could change the builds of our characters. |

Please note this about male players in general:
If a male plays a male avatar, then he is projecting an in-game extension of himself, of what he is on the inside or what he wants to be. If a male plays a female avatar, then he is objectifying females because he likes staring at their backsides or whatever other giggly, curvy bits the developers want to addict them with. For obvious appeal to the male audience, the men are HOOOGE and muscular/tough/athletic and the women are athletic/willowy/hot. I have four male chars and I am male and that's my worthless two bits. |

I think if you could get the statistics on who is playing the game # of females, and the # of female characters, it would become fairly obvious that more than half of the female characters are played by males.
I'm male and my characters are male. Matt |

I'm male in real life, and my characters are:
1.)A female necromancer 2.)A female elementalist 3.)A female ranger 4.)A male warrior Simply because male necromancers look ill, elementalists have a crappy dance, female rangers look better than male in my opinion..then I hate both female and male warriors, but male's a little better. |
