I have been watching GW for a while now. and thinking about getting it but i have some questions. if these have been covered here before i apologize.

first. is it quest / pvp only. depending on the time and my mood with most of the mmorpgs i play i will either log in and do quests or will log in and monster hunt for a bit. is it possible to just go out and explore or hunt monsters? or do you have to skick with either quests or pvp.

second. i'm not a big fan of pvp. though reading on the GW site i might change my mind. i know pvp is held in arenas. but when i am out in the world with an rpg character is it possible to accidently wander into a pvp zone?

i know i should just buy and find out. but with my budget with games i research a game completely before buying.

You can go out into the world anytime you want and farm. When you leave a town or outpost, you get your own coppy of that map so you will not run into anyone besides those that are in your party.

You will not accidently wander into a pvp zone and get killed. Pvp arenas are only linked to towns/outposts. AFter you enter one you are not in the fighting zone just yet. You are in another outpost and you proceed from there to a pvp arena after you hit the button "enter mission". the early pvp arenas send you in with a radnom team against another randomly formed team. The early pvp arenas also have level limits. Not until you get to the later pvp arenas will you be able to form your own team and go in. The later pvp arenas also have scenario matches, where it is not jsut kill the oposing team. It may be get more kills than the oposing team, capture the relic, king of the hill, and so on.
