tapestry shred (if that is how u spell it) and to kryta: ice cave questions - Guild Wars Forums

hi pplz

ive got the tapestry shred or wateva it is called from gwen but i have no idea what it is for?

and also i was doing the quest "to kryta: the ice cave" where u have to follow the marks of aidan to get out of the cave and after that you have to talk to him to get your reward. I forgot to talk to him on the first time and when i went back to look for him he was gone?!. I believed he may have died and never respawned lol or he just fell off the face of the earth.

any help guys?

For the tapestry, I have no clue. I have never bothered with Gwen

And I believe, Aidan was "optional", you can talk to him to get the reward of the quest, otherwise, it doesn't matter.. you're already in the vicinity of Kryta; you just have to walk there. If you really want that reward, if you start again from Beacon's perch, you may have the possibility to do that quest again.

Yeah, I'm in the same situation.

Forgot to talk to Aidan and now he's gone. I've run through again and he's still not there. Not sure if I abandon the quest it'll be offered again.

As for the Tapestry thing...no idea.

It'll be offered again if you abandoned it. If not then it'd be a bug.

yeh ive tried abandoning it and i got the quest back but that sneaky rat is still missing? lol

currently doing the reverse the skales quest...that Lord guy that u meant to fight doesnt show up as well? sighz lol

He does. You have to talk to an Ascalon scout and he will tell you about sighting Lord Timolt (sp?) and after that your arrow shifts, and you are guided to Lord Timolt's location. He is a Necrid Horseman. Monk IIRC, not too sure.
