elite skill capture problems - Guild Wars Forums

i hav failed twice to capture the ranger skill escape from the troll boss in the Snake Dance area. i dont understand wut is meant by "spamming ur capture signet". i hav nevr seen the boss use the skill yet others on the team hav captured it. any assistance would b appreciated.

Maybe you're missing it win the boss uses the skill. It's very easy to do. Target the boss and ignore the battle if you really want the skill. Look under the boss's health bar and you'll see the skills he's cycling through. They're very small and easy to miss. Once you see the skill you want come up, click the capture signet.

Also, keep in mind that a boss might not always use the skill you're trying to get.

If I remember right... you will not see stance icon poping out... therefore, you will probably have to run straight to the boss and keep on clicking on the capture signet until it start capturing something.

the image will only be there for half a sec max. you need to get the other skills he casts first. frozen soil and something else.

after this seek out your toll and sit there clicking like mad on your cap sig. he will cast and you will cap. just be sure to call off your buddies as you will need a good 45 sec to do this.
