Average hit = 10
Average hit + 20% = 12 10 hits = 100 damage 10 hits customized = 120 damage You notice the difference. Add to that the other +% stats on a weapon and it all adds up. Most people will pay 1plat or more for a weapon that is 15 - 22 vs 14 - 21. And that is only 1 damage point. Customizing weapons gives much higher returns for the money. (that is if you're going to keep it forever or salvage later) Last edited by ChristopherKee; May 31, 2005 at 06:35 PM // 18:35.. |

personally I only customize items that I will keep for long periods of time Like the 13-25 w/13% if health over 50% bow I got right out of post searing... I still use it. Because plus 33% to damage is really good =)

One thing you should have in mind: only buy maximum damage items.
13-25 bow average 19, 15-28 max bow average 21.5. So 13-25 bow with 15% damage = plain 15-28 bow. |
