monk wear for a l20 monk
hello. got a l 20 monk. still have older armor.
i went to omnoon oasis and see i have 2 choices , either censor armor (with +10physical armor) or the sacred line. sacred requires i find some linen. i dont know where to get linen. then the censor requires lots of steel. should i go with the censor armor. or do i want the sacred one. its going to cost me quite a bit. and im completely broke. what do i want to do here ? also where can i get lots of gold fast?> |

if you dont get killed to many times due to your armor then keep it
later on will be beter armor (also much more expensive, still saving for it and im almost there) you can get linen by salvagen or buy it ( though im not quit sure if you can already buy it there) |

You can make linen out of plant fibers. Map to Sardelac Sanitarium and just outside is an artisan who'll do it for you. (I'm pretty sure.) It might be cheaper than just buying linen.

the mirror image is very hard if you're a monk, because he does the healing to
What's your second profession? |

For the gold i can refer you to this guide i made.
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...96&postcount=4 As for the armor, whichever you feel best suits your play style. linen can be found in several places. easiest way is the fiber to linen plan though. |

*warning spoiler*
I waited till after ascension to upgrade my armor, I had most of the stuff you get from the collectors before then. I am a healing/smiter monk and found an easy way to kill my mirror. Using this build... Healing Breeze Bane Signet Banish Smite Symbol of Wrath Seems your mirror won't use Healing Breeze for some reason and will have the same build you do, including useless skills or empty slots. So just hit Healing Breeze first off and keep it on, then use your weapon and all your smite damage skills. I killed him within the 50 sec timer for the bonus this way. After that you'll be close to the armor crafter for the level 20 stuff. Make whatever you want, as a healer I went the route of energy (as I always have) so I used alot of parchments. Kinda feel naked abit though. |

Devino's got it. I used a similar build. Try either build. Here is how you should set attribute points:
Attributes 11 +1 Divine Favor. 10 +1 Smite 8 +1 Healing Skills Breeze (Mirror doesn't use Breeze) Bane Signet (smite spell uses no energy) Baltrhazar's Spirit (give you energy when attacked) Divine Boon (adds to heal) Retribution (33% return dmg when attacked) Weapons Rod or Staff 10 to 21 dmg. OR something in that range. As you can see the build is similar. Lots of points into smite. Divine Boon, Balthazars, and Retribution are all Enchantments with -1 Energy. Put them on before you go into battle. Skip the cut scene. Boon and Breeze keep you alive. Balthazar's give you plenty of energy. Retribution and Band kill him Last edited by funbun; Jun 01, 2005 at 11:48 AM // 11:48.. |

Hmm, all I used was healing breeze and retribution (was using 30 AL Corwen set from Ascalon). Put on retribution, breeze. If low on HP, dodge arrows for a while. After a while the mirror just dies from retribution.

I never had to dodge. And I beat my Mirror in 35 seconds FLAT.
Divine Boon give 61 extra heal, divine favor give 38 extra heal. Thats 99 heal points everytime you use Breeze plus you get the contious heal of breeze. Witth 33% damage returning to the mirror there is no need to run. |

****SPOILER ALERT*****
Monk is very very easy if yo know how... Spec as much into smiting and healing as you can, nothing else. Take 2 Spells and "2" ONLY. Healing Breeze Retribution Keep Breeze up (mirror wont cast it) Keep Retribution on (mirror will kill himself in under 45 seconds) That is all there is to it. |
