Weapon Upgrades
Quick (stupid) question about upgrading weapons. In general, if you add an "off" color upgrade to a weapon, will it downgrade the weapons color?
I have not seen/aquired to many upgrades (all of which are blue), but do the purple and gold ones give better stats (like runes)? Example, I have a blue fiery bow string that would be a nice add-on to my gold longbow of defense. I know I will add fire capability to the bow but will it downgrade to purple? Or hamper any other stats of the bow? I can't imagine that this would happen, but I just have to ask. And I know the color of the weapon shouldn't matter, but hey, I like my max goldie. Thanks - Jim |

unless you find another add-on with the type of magic you are looking for specifically, in the end it comes down to gameplay, and if you are doing more damage, you'll kill faster and earn more gold.

color has nothign to do with anything on the weaopn.. it doesnt' change the casting times of spells, speed of weapon swing.. nothing.. absolutly nothing....
The only thing that 'RARE GOLD OMG!' weapons are good for, is they have a higher chance to have higher bonus when they are identified. |
