Swords and Build
Hi, i know you guys must get this all the time... but 'hey' i'm an RPG newb, and trying to learn fast...
I have a level 15 R/E and got a bit tired.. just wasn't happy with him. So now i'm making this N/W and so far i'm very happy with how hes turning out. Basically i want him to be swordsman 12... i like using the sword in combat, but i don't know what else to put atributes onto, can anyone give me an idea of how skills/attributes should be set out. Also as another question, with the exclusion of purple weapons e.t.c. What is the 'best' sword? Is it the fire sword, i can't work it out, i don't have much knowledge of the game yet. |

well, if you go curses, you can get mark of pain, which with your melee skills, would be badass.
there's also a fear curse which is nice. slows enemies attacks for a while blood to suck life from your enemies tactics for shield and defensive skills (watch yourself = +20 AL). If you go with mark of pain, I suggest going axe if you can find a good one and using cyclone axe. Not only do you get the hit from the axe on all enemies near you, but then mark of pain kicks in for added damage. At least until you get hundred blades in the late game for swords. |

Hmm, where do you get the hundred blades skill? And if anyone would be so kind to filling me in about a good sword... which is the best?

Well since your not a primary warrior, you can't use strength so tactics is only tree available besides your desired weapon mastery. Tactics have some nice defensive skills.
As previously stated, blood skills and curses for the necro also work well in tandem with warrior skills. |

Doesn't matter if it's a fell blade or whatever. Just get one with no elemental attribute to start. It'll run you about 1-2k. But it'll be your bread and butter throughout the game. It's an investment. When you hit lion's arch, go to district 1 or 2, most traders are there. |

i have a small question? this may be dumb but here goes. why would you go N/W and not W/N the armor you can wear as a Warrior is much better and if your using swords as your weapon your going to be in close and you would be better off with the warrior armor? can someone explain to me why the N/W would be better?

Well Salatious, I haven't actually played the necro class so I don't know. I would also be interested in hearing some feedback on this.
It would probably be quicker doing a search in the campfire forum though. I'm sure its been discussed there ad nauseum. |

I'm a level 14 N/W and I tried it both ways.I decided to have necro as the primary for the energy level and the soul reaping. My necro/warr has descent armor anyway.I use blood skills and start my attack with a staff then as the battle closes in I switch to my swords. If you want to whisper me my ingame name is Daedric Akaul too.

when you get to ventari's, you can get level 51 AL armor from collectors around the area (the falls and such)
