I made an elementalist/monk character a few weeks ago and I love her.
But I just can't seem to find just the right combination of skills to use for the PVP area.

I'm level 15, and the farthest I have gotten is to the place right before the quest that gets you to Kryta. Sorry, the name escapes me. ^_^
Anyway, are there any skills that I should DEFINETLY get??
I want to be able to use any skills I pick up, but for now more of my skill points are in my element magics rather than monk spells.

Just look through the skill listings and see what seems to fit you best. Flare, if you have Fire Magic, is one of the most popular spells because it is one of the, if not THE, most energy efficient spells in the game.

It's popular to go with the most enery efficient spells you can find. This means high damage for little energy. Toy around and you'll eventually find what you like.

Also, a lot of the "better" spells aren't found till later. Amnoon Oasis and Droknar's Forge in particular tend to hold a lot of the "must have" skills for people. Progress in the game and do quests to pick up new skills.

3) Symbol of wrath (Ascalon city)
4) Reversal of fortune (Ascalon city) / Orizon of healing (Ascalon city) he uses both in in different fights
5) Healing touch (Droknar's forge)
6) Healing breeze (Ascalon city)
7) Zealot's fire (Droknar's forge)
8) Balthazaar's spirit (Lion's arch)

Actually, Flare isn't all that efficient when compared to Conjure flame and a good fire wand. I used to use flare all the time and was constantly running out of energy in the middle of a fight. Now I cast Conjure Flame at the start and then only use energy when I decide it's time to cast Immolate, Fireball, Meteor Storm etc.
Of course, now that I'm not constantly spending energy on flares it also make my Aura of Restoration a lot less useful.
