holy damage...
hi guys...i'm more or less new to the game and had a question. i have a few skills that deal holy damage against foes. because i've played d2 for so long i've grown accustomed to the fact that holy damage affects undead monsters only...but what is the deal with holy damage in GW? can i hurt all types of monsters using skills that deal holy damage? thanx in advance...if this has been talked about, sorry.

Yes it hurts everything but when I use it against undead stuff I see that it tends to do almost doubel damage (e.g. I use Bane Signet on Ice golem. Does 32 damage. I use it against Skeleton ranger. Does 64 damage.)

Holy Damage hurts undead more effectively. On normal foes, direct HD spells bypass armor class, which can be quite helpful. This happens with direct damage spells only though, and doesn't actually make weapon damage itself bypass armor.
