uhh, im confused here, i am a lvl 17 w/mo, what do the avatars do? I have seen Dwayna and Bathazar ( or at least thier avatars) what is it for? i haven't talked to Bathazar, but i have talked to Dwayna, and my only option is "nothing i'll be on my way" or whatever it is when you have nothing to say to them. Just curious, what are they for? do they help your charecter in some way (i read the book, i pray to bathazar)? many thanks to those who help me out

you are in temple of ages?

if so that is how you get to underworld/woe

ya in the temple of ages you can kneel to either grenth or bathazar and pay 1k to go to the underworld or the fissure of woe

Ok, but I've noticed in Sanctity Temple(I think) that there is an avatar for Melandru. I've seen these characters in places other than the temple of ages, and always get that "Nothing I'll be on my way" message.

Any idea why they would be outside the temple of ages area?

The ones in town that give out the "Nothing. I'll be on my way" message have not been activated by the Developers to do anything yet. The statues that are out in the wilderness, however, are active and allow you to donate 50 gold for Dwayna's Aura that increases the speed at which your party's health regenerates and/or donate 100 gold for a 2% increase in Morale for your party. Dwayna's Aura lasts for a very long time but eventually goes away; the morale boost lasts until you enter a town or leave the party.

Talking to "Grenth's Voice" and "Balthazar's Champion" allows you to enter the Underworld and the Fissure of Woe... for 1 platinum.

At the moment, Melandru, Lyssa, and Dwayna don't do anything.

you can make the avatars appear by /kneel ing infront of the statues.

You can only go into the underworld though if your country has the favor of the gods.
