upgrade help - Guild Wars Forums

In order to upgrade weapons and items do i have too craft them?Or can i purchase them?.Lets say i have a sword and its 7-12 Damage and +10% while under 50% health,will upgrading the hilt improve overall Damage?

No upgrades will not help the base damage. Hilts change teh type of damage or lenghten a condition. For teh most part anyways. Pommels and grips can add damage but it is on if it is use vs. one type of creature, like Charr, or undead.
