Defeating your mirrior - Guild Wars Forums

No matter what i do my mirror always attacks faster than i do. I am a ranger/monk what tactics should i use on my mirror self (quest after u complete the 3 ascension tests) and how should i go along defeating her?

Unload all your healing spells except for healing spring. Un-equip all your monk skills as well. Load your skill bar up with beast mastery stuff only.

Cast winter or some other basic spirit, stand behind the spirit and nail your mirror a little, as soon as he cast healing spring work your way around the spirit and get close into your mirror until he equips an axe or sword. Then manuever him off the healing spring, and yourself onto it.

Plink away. You will heal for the duration of the spring while he whacks away at you. He wont be able to cast healing spring again if you keep the shots coming. All the while you are healing.

Just a suggestion. I am a R/E and this method worked for me after 6 or 7 attempts at going toe to toe with him.

you can also try this

bring apply poison, 1 or 2 bow skills, distracting shot, troll unguent, and the rest natural rituals.
run over two of the three stones you have to light up before the cut scene, cast apply poison, run on the third, and skip the cut scene.

if you're lucky your mirrior will start casting all the rituals on your bar, despite it only being three. i was able to get him down to 1/2 life before he even started to attack me. then its just a matter of interrupting troll unguent when he casts it and he's as good as dead

stand right next to him, he brongs out a crappy axe xD
thats how i defeated mine, then use fav winds+ignite arrows and ur done
keep troll unguent in and always distract him when he tries it

i am a R/E also and he does like 50 damage on me every shot he makes
wtf do i do i cant stay alive.. i am invested in marksmanship, air magic and expertise

Easy for r/mo load up nature rituals no attacks load up healing breeze zelots fire and balthazars,he will beat him self to death on ur shields while you spam healing breeze on yourself.

i am W/E

just equip all the high dmg skills on you and just do an all-out assault; don't think, just kill!! dont' be all tactical. that's what i did. i think i destroyed my mirror in like less then 20 seconds like 3 times already.

haha i took that guys advice, even though i didnt expect it to work, it really did.
i put in 4 of my longest activation time preperation skills and then had the rest as my high damage bow attacks, i plowed him and he had about half health when he stopped casting all his shit.. i barely scraped the win though, i had to customize my weapon to get the edge
