Not that I know of, but to tell you the truth I've only mixed once, it came out a nasty brown.

It doesn't matter the dye would never actually say gold it would say mixed and possibly just look gold. I don't know though.

be careful of bots and keyloggers. I wouldn't download anything at all if I were you, just to be on the safe side. Just look for people like theclam who have already experimented.
If you plan on using it then of course you need to find real gold, but if it's for your own collection or use then who cares if it's real gold or not, as long as the color's right. |

Mixing the dyes up is also no gurantee of getting a decent color. It also depends in part on what you are applying the dye to.
In order to get brown on my mesmer all it takes is a single orange on top of that overbearing green he starts with. Other colors seem to take ok.. its weird all around and there is no single option that will give everyone the right color. |

Best way to avoid the keylogger threat, and get to use the program you've downloaded:
Download it, but don't install it... yet. Put it on a disk, or USB key, or something else portable and take it to another computer not attached to any network of any kind (LAN or Wireless or Bluetooth). Install the software on that system, and run it on the system exlusively. Sure if there is a keylogger, it'll log away but it won't be able to send the results anywhere. Just keep in mind to that when you are finished with this you should format and rebuild that system. I know its a bit of a hassle, but for real computer nerds like myself we have so much extra (and mostly outdated) hardware that its second nature to have a few extra systems operating. |
