Has Warrior's Endurance elite been moved?
I've spent collectively about 4 hours trying to capture Warrior's Endurance from both the locations listed here: http://www.xennon.co.uk/eliteskills/ - but it seems neither boss uses it, EVER. You can lower his health, his energy, but he still doesn't use it. I know a few people have captured the skill from these locations; I've even seen a pic on another forum showing a guy capturing it from the Custodian at Thirsty River. Does anyone know if Warrior's Endurance is still capturable at Elona's Reach or Thirsty River? Or has it been moved? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's driving me nuts!

It is there the patch said it made it easier to get elite skills but for the ones it listed it moved them from near impossible to really hard.

I got it from Thirsty River. There is a trick to it that works BUT you have to have a willing group to do this with you. First, kill everyone around him so that he is alone. That is a no-brainer. Anyway, when he is alone let him attack as much as he wants until he is healed all the way. Then get your group to attack him as fast and as hard as possible to lower his health ASAP. Don't go below 50% for him though. While this is going on spam your SOC (works best if you are standing away from the battle so you don't miss any chances of getting it by being distracted). If you don't get it...let him heal up to 100% and try again. When I figured this out it only took 4 minutes to get the skill from him after my group got him alone. I was so happy that I got it (three days of trying) that after the mission was over I handed out two runes to the remaining party members to thank them.
One thing to remember here. The skill will never show up under his name. So spam your SOC. Also, for some odd reason, the SOC will cancel out a lot. And I mean A LOT! That is why it took 4 minutes to finally get it. I had it cancel out at least 7 times before I got it. Anyway, I wish you luck in capping it! I hope this helps! |

One last quick note to all the warriors out there. If you don't know it then let me be the first to let you in on the information. Many of the elite skills will never show up under the boss's name. Battle Rage, Dwarven Battle Stance, Defy Pain and Gladiator's Defense just to name a few. So spam your SOC and hope for the best! Most likely you will get it after trying enough times.
Good hunting! |

When spamming be mindful not to press the button more then once when you start capturing because if you press the signet twice it cancels which I think is stupid because no other skill does that.

What are you meaning by Spam the SOC, as you say it cancels out on several occasions? |

Thanks for the replies. Great info, Will. I'll definitely give your suggestions a try with crossed fingers. Very interesting that these elites don't show up under the boss's name. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

They don't show up because they are stances which are near instantaneous to activate and next to impossible to interrupt.

If anyone else has successfully been able to capture Warrior's Endurance successfully, feel free to post. Looking through similar threads, I know there are many others having the same problem. |

Just captured Warrior's Endurance at Thirsty River. Just kill everyone around boss, then spam SOC on the Custodian while everyone attacks him and it will come Just don't kill him before you capture. Good luck!

It's not stupid. That's how you cancel it from capturing a spell you don't want. |

Hmm been running thirsty river for about 10 times now, finally picked up that skill that knocks the person out of stance, and was glad to see they changed it to take the person out of stance EVERY time he's in stance, not just when you miss or he evades. Gonna give it a few more goes, i'll keep ya posted

From the update on 5/8:
"Changed Signet of Capture so that it now targets dead boss monsters. When you use the signet, you are presented with a menu of all of the dead boss monster's skills, and can capture any skill of your choice. This eliminates the need to keep boss monsters alive while trying to capture their skills, and will substantially reduce the difficulty of capturing certain skills that are rarely cast by boss monsters." Doesn't this mean we no longer have to spam SoC to get skills like this? |

Yep, I tried it out with my last few remaining skill point....after spending the night prior capturing Perdition Rock skills the old fashioned way (was such a waste of time..shoulda just waited till today lol). It is very easy now, just kill it fast..no more having to trick a boss into using a skill or spamming the signet.

I feedbacked to them about the tedium of capturing skills and they listened. Thanks to me and probably others who complained to them, you all now have it easy
