What does "rank" mean - Guild Wars Forums

When you press the 'h' button you see the "rank" field... I have zero yet ive been playing pvp for a while.. how does rank increase anyhow? I can't get into any groups because im a ranger.. AND because I dont have a high enough rank

When you have 180 fame or more, you will be rank 3 or higher... when you are rank 3 or higher, you can do a special /emote the /fame or /rank and it will create a 3D image of your rank with an animal symbol.

To obtain fame, one must win in tomb of primeval King PvP. The more consecutive win you have, the more fame you gain.

But don't let it get over your head... having higher fame does not mean you are better than someone... you just simply play more pvp that's all. Anyone with around 60 and higher are already as good as those with 300 over... the only thing they lack might be playing time and bad luck in finding a good group.
