Best Armor for a Monk? - Guild Wars Forums

Whats the best armor? I'm at Droknars Forge... I can't decide on whether to buy the tattoo armor with alot of energy or the armor that gives +10 to defend physical attacks.

The tatto armor gives +17 energy for the whole set.
The censor armor gives +6 energy and +10 armor agianst physical attacks.

That depends mostly on your game play style. Personally....I could not resist the tattoos.

My playing style is PvE/PvP.

Some people say all tattoos for the super energy bonus, but many recommend to wear a good protective armor on the chest area, and maybe the leg area. The reason is because chest is hit the most, and legs the second most.

I wear Censors (extra physical protection) for chest and legs, and tattoos for everything else.

I used to wear all tattoos, then wore heavier armor for chest, then decided to do the legs too. It helps a lot when fighting physical mobs.
