Guild Tags - Guild Wars Forums

My guild's tag is KoT, however I see other guilds with the same tag! There is a Knights of Tyria, and Knights of Treachery, all which aren't us, but they have the same KoT tag as us! Is this a bug or are guild tags not unique?

Guild tags aren't unique, simply because they're limited to four letters and many people would miss out if they were unique. I don't mind having the same tags, I just wish the actual guild name would show up on the character somewhere.

I wish you could see the guild name somewhere too, there have been a few times where I have seen a tag and wondered what it stood for
