Guild Question...
Hi,
I just received an invitation to join a Guild. I have never been in a Guild and I really don't know what to expect. Is there more information somewhere about all the different guilds? Are there some special rules? Are there some guilds that try to trick and cheat you ('trick and cheat', not 'trick or treat' ha ha)? Guild in question is the 'Raining Spears'. Thanks, skull |

Join them and if you don't like it, click on your name in guild register to drop yourself. Questions you need to ask in guild chat are; is this a PvE or PvP guild, do they GvG and if so what are the builds, are there alot of people on at your times. A good guild can help you out alot and be loads of fun, a bad guild can make you angry and no fun. Then if there is never anyone on when you are, you'll get board. but go for it...worst you can do is get a guild that wants to collect taxes from ya..LOL.

I generally tend to stay away from any group of people I havent known for some time and have a good rappot with. Not because i mistrust them, but because the only reason i should be joining a guild is to add to my gameplay enjoyment and add to others', not just "for the heck of it" as a lot of guilds/gamers do.
If you have never been in a guild in any game, i'd say go for it for the experience. But don't be disappinted if you find that you are doing everything as you allways were by yourself, sans the ornamental cape. There are some genuinely fun, good gamers out there having a blast together (rather than just claiming to be). When you run into them, consider yourself arrived as far as companionship goes. |
