does knights armor effect stack with absorption runes? - Guild Wars Forums

right now i am using full plate mail with a rune of major absorption

what i want to know is: if i equip one piece of knights armor, will the damage reduction effect from that stack with my rune of major absorption? or will one effect simply not be used?
