Not that hard to get money in this game if you work a little in farming or trading. The first 50k is hard but it gets a lot easier after that.

16k... I feel pathetic because I can't farm, then again I farm for fun and get about 1k, which is good enough, what do we need tons o' money for anyway? Just more stuff really...
Anywho, yeah thats all I have now, total, I pool all my gold in my vault instead of keeping it on my person. |

i've had as much as 8k
basically i've always had enough to be able to get what i've needed, going to start saving for a sigil at this point for the guild, which shouldnt be hard. selling items is only one small way to earn cash, aside from farming gold drop areas. if you are a good trader, you can make a good penny and still not ripping people off. i trade items, high level and low level to players of all kinds...i'm playing to have fun not rip people off and make tons of money...and you are still able to do well with the gold like the last poster said, a black dye, a major rune, a max damage gold item...all help in the gold cause |

I think the most I've had is about 800g. I'm a 14R/N.
I keep seeing all these stories on how people farm/sell. I must be doing something wrong, cause I have 2 good hammers (one gold the other purple) that do great damage but no buyers even if I advertise for 1200gp on either. I must be doing something wrong. |

In actual answer to the origional poster, (now that all the men have had the chance to show off their computer game bank balances), yes you have a lot of money for your level and where you are in the game. I used to "farm" lvl 3 stone elements to make the cash for a new weapon when I was lvl 9 or so and it was real hard work. Died now and then untill I got to like level 14 but it still took me a while to make the money. Back then I thought making 1K at lvl 9 in 40 minutes was great, untill I was stepped on by some stupid lvl 20 W/Mo who informed me I was poor.
I've never had more than about 8K but I do like to spend my money. Everytime I get to 2K or 3K I spend it all, on dye normally or crap I don't need. Right at the moment I've got about 75K .. wonder if you can guess what I stumbled across and sold *_* Personally I find it's nice to have money, but farming bores me. Don't know what someone would actually do with thousands of gold after they've bought everything in the game. If 100K ever comes to me as easily as it does those guys, I'd feel my money was a bit worthless. I mean, where's the hard work? Talk about rinse and repeat. Like you might have seen me say in game ... a chimp could do it |
