Good place to get some decent items/money?

Myself (Mo/W 20) and my friend (W/E 20) both have good AoE spells and like to play together. However we just bought a guild hall and our pockets are dry. Recently we've been farming griffons just outside of Fort Rankor but I find the mobs to be too spread out and hard to kill more than say 4 at a time. Also, they don't drop any exceptional items for the most part. They drop TONS of smiting staffs, smiting rods, holy rods, holy staffs, and icons, ankhs, etc. However nohting to really boast about gold worth (dyes, runes, sweet weapons). I've been trying to think of a place where there are tons of giants as we both have balanced stance and they generally drop good items. Is there any place that is good and has lots of melee enemies grouped quite closely together??

ps, I use - healing breeze, orison of healing, word of healing, essence bond, balthazars aura, zealots fire, sprint, resurrection.

he uses (not sure) - some hammer blow, lava font, inferno, sometimes firestorm, defy pain, sprint. not sure what else he uses but thats the jist of it.
