Is there a way to get a skill point without getting xp? - Guild Wars Forums

The Signet of Capture quest is the closest thing to an answer unless you guys know of a different quest or means of acquiring skill points. If not, what quests are you aware of that offer a minimal amount of xp in addition to a skill point?

You get a skill point for completing any mission (available at the towns/outposts whose marker is shaped like a shield).

Ways of collecting skill points:
- Levelling (1 skill point for every level)
- Missions (1 skill point for every mission + 1 for the bonus in some cases)
- Quests (there is at least 1 quest in pre-searing with a skill point reward)
- PvP Fame (1 per rank)

I know how to get skill points. Sorry I didn't bold this for those of you that missed it twice the first time: How do you get skill points without getting xp? Fame seems to be the best answer but it occurs to late in the game to serve my purposes.

I didn't think it was possible....guess I was right.

That's just plain weird, your question. You mean a mission that gives both experience AND skill points doesn't count?

But otherwise, TetrisL's list seems right.

He must want to get to ascension as a lvl-1 character is all I can think. And with the changes to Ascension that would probably not be a good thing...
