Voice Chat
Alright im and xbox live gamer and i love voice chat but i was wondering what all do i have to do to get voice chat on this pc game. Some guy told me to download teamspeak 2. So i did that but what now do i just need a mic or is that it and when i get one how do i talk to people. Are there just endless amounts of chatter in a city like lions arch. Help a Gamer in need

Here's what I did:
Alternately, if you're not into setting up your own server, you can log in on someone else's server for free or for pay. Someone posted a thread about offering free TS server channels a few days ago (search for it). Might check out GameDaemons...last time I checked I think you could get a dedicated TS server for $5/month if you prepaid for a year. You only hear the people who are in the same channel as you. |

As for how you speak, usually you set up Teamspeak to map a particular key to the "speak" key so that when you push it down you can talk. When you let go of that key, you're not talking, you're listening. I have my ALT key mapped to talk, fyi. |

Just to clarify, Teamspeak knows nothing about the game you're playing, and is completely seperate. When you join a party somebody may offer up a TS server for use, and everyone who has a working mic joins up. You'll also see people using Ventrillo which works about as well, although I'm sure there are people who will argue endlessly about which one is better.
