Question about staff upgrades/wrappings
I always wondered how many upgrades you can have on a single staff? Is there a limit? I have a +29 heath wrapping and was going to apply it to the staff posted below.
but when i click apply it pops up something about other upgrades will be replaced? How do I know what it will replace? does it take the last upgrade on the item or just pick one of them randomly to replace it with? I wouldnt mind loosing one of the skill recharge or casting speed upgrades but would like to keep the armor/enchantments/energy part of the staff. so I decided not to apply the wrapping just yet. I would be nice if it would tell you..."if you apply this you will lose armor +4" or something like that. I was just wondering how many upgrades are allowed on an item..if there is a limit. and how it decides on what to replace? I think it shoudl allow you to upgrade it as long as it doesnt have that attribute yet...like since my staff doesnt have +health it would be ok to just add it...but not stack another +health ontop of it. then we could make some prety serious weapons. |

Isn't the 17% longer enchantment a wrapping? Wouldn't adding a +29 health wrapping overwrite the enchantment one?
I guess the only way to know this is to just be familiar with what comes from what. I could be really stupid, but I just figured the armor+4 was coming from a staff head and the 17% longer enchantments was coming from a wrapping. |

The wrapping of enchanting will be replaced. Staff heads replace the prefix and wrappings replace the suffix.
