I can't remember if you get the quest straight away though, or if you have to complete a few of the other LA quests before you get access to this quest. Sorry that i can't help you further. |

If I remember right he gives you the quest right away, Orrian Excavation I think.
edit: Heard that if you go to the Henge of Denravi you can get them there without quests. |

There's a quest in Lions Arch from a guy called Magi Malaquire that gives you an SoC. But to activate that quest you gotta do some other quest for him first.
And you can always buy an SoC from the skill trainers at Beetletum, Henge of Denravi and Quarrel Falls. Quote:
[edit] Hmmm ... strange: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content...tun-id1328.php doesn't list the SoC. But I bought one there yesterday. [/edit] Last edited by Tetris L; Jun 17, 2005 at 02:44 PM // 14:44.. |

He gives you Orrian Excevation first, which is to kill some golems that drop tablets, which you return to him.. He gives you the quest Malaquire's Test which is to use the SoC that he gives you to capture a skill, then they come available to purchase from him...
Thats the order I recall it in, not on my home machine so I can't do much checking. But at any rate, if you do both quests you'll have SoC's, which is what you wanted to know |

Since when are SoC's available at Beetletum? Has it always been that way?
As I said, I bought an SoC at Beetletum yesterday, without having done "Malaquire's Test" first. |
