Can someone tell me what this area is about? I finally got to it last night when America had favor. The gods wanted me to make a 1k sacrifice. What does that do?

The Favor has to be in your favor to enter. To enter you have to pay 1K. Be prepared to die and bring help.

There are two areas to go too within the temple of ages..

Underworld and the Fissure of Woe

They are both high level and elite areas. Never go down to them by yourself, always have a full 8 player team. If you pay the 1K by yourself, your end up there by yourself as well.

Both these areas include good drops, rare goodies, a black widow spider! and access to super expensive armor when is 15K to make as well.

Hey Kuku, that was a fun run last night! By paying the 1k it will allow access to Fissure of Woe and Underworld

Is the charge a 1 time fee or pay every time you enter?

Each time you enter... however since in a full team of 8 people it only costs 125g each, there is no excuse.
