Increasing skill points
I have a few questions about raising skillpoints and what the results are.
If I am a warrior and raise swordsmanship will I do more damage or just hit more often? If I raise strength will I do more damage with my weapon? And should raising the mastery help more than strength? If I raise healing prayers will I heal for more life points? Or just be more sucessful? Thanks for your replies. |

Raising swordsmanship (if you're using a sword) will raise your damage while using a sword as well as sword skill attacks.
Strength increases armor penatration and some strength related skills. Healing prayers increases healing and/or duration of healing skills. |

What about tactics? Will that raise blocking? Anything else?

You know by pressing h and mousing over each attribute it will tell you exactly what each of them does. MCS is basically just typing what it says in the caption.

Guildwarsguru.com -> Skill Listing -> Warrior:
Most of the information is spelled out for you there. The website has a lot of nice references for you if you're willing to take a little time to look. |

Shields don't block in GW all they do is offer extra armor if you are struck in the front 120 degrees. Points in tactics are only to make tactic skills better or for a requirement on a shield.
Yes, mouse over them. |
