Armour questions
Firstly, this isn't the regular 'does damage reduction from armour stack?' thread. I'd like to know how much armour the 15k sets give you (for a warrior), and also when the next place to upgrade my armour would be. I last bought the Ascalon set in Ascalon City, which gives me 50 armour per piece, and I'm now at The Wilds mission. How much further is it to the best armour sets, and is it worth buying some more armour before I get there?

If I remember correctly, the best warrior armour is something like 80 AR + 20 v's physical. It can be found in Draknor's Forge. There are other more exspensive armour, it has the same stats, but looks cooler. I think those are in Fissure Of Woe or Granit Citadel.

If you are going to stick with the Ascalon set then I think your next upgrade is at Ventari's Refuge (AR 65 + 10 vs. Physical). You are in the right area of the world. I think you have two more missions and you should be there. You can get higher AR armor at Beetletun but they only have Ringmail and Gladiator (both are AR 59 + 20 and Gladitor gives Energy).
As stated, the highest (that I know of) is at Droknar's Forge. The Ascalon set there is AR 80 + 10 vs. Physical but there are better. Knight's is 80 + 10 and Reduces Damage (I think it looks better than Ascalon) Gladiator is 80 + 20 with Energy additions Wyvern is 85 + 10 Platemail is 85 + 10 After that there is the 15K armor which I hear just looks different. I think you have 9 or 10 missions to go before you get to Droknar's Forge so an upgrade at Ventari's Refuge may be a good idea. |
