Purple worthless items - Guild Wars Forums

When will ArenaNet implement into their next updates to fix the problem where you get unidentified purple drops that are worthless? You know what I'm talking about. Yesterday during a quest at northern shiverpeaks, I got 2 purple drops and both of them were worthless weapons. It was a regular damage axe with no special stats and a regular damage longbow with no special stats as well. And both were purple??? Identifying them and no upgrades revealed. I wasted two uses of my identification kit on two worthless items.

Check the Requirements for the items. I have found that when ever I get one of those weapons it usually is either higher damage then other weapons that drop in that area and they usually has a lower requirement.
