You could try and arrange a Ventrilo or Teamspeak server for your guild. Search on MSN or Google and type in Teamspeak or Ventrilo and then download both the Server and the Client to talk to your guildmates online

Hope this helps!

For 'in game' differences the only things are the hall/cape. For the "non-technical game" differences hopefully as a leader you are a model example of what you want your officers to be.

And also, as a leader, depend whats ur goal is. For me, my goal is to help the others on their quest. So whenever the members need help, I always bring my officers with me to help them out. Like Moskel said, you are a model example for your guild.

As stated before, in-game, you have listed all of your abilities to manage your guild, that were programmed into Guild Wars.

However, Being a sucessful leader usually is a reflection of what you do for your guild out of game. Be it getting your guild out to the public (i.e. put your guild on several guild listings), setting up a community for your guild (forums, voice communication, ect.), staying closely bonded with your members (email, AIM, ect.), and scheduling events for your guild.

In-game you do have more that you may do to manage your guild effectivly. Knowing and bonding with your members is extremely important. If you do not know and bond with your members, they will have little respect for you as their leader, and will be reluctant to follow you into battle so to speak.
It's also important to keep them involved and making every member feel like they are a part of the guild.

Also keep active yourself and post updates regularly. You want your members to be active? Lead by example, You must be active yourself.

Well I hope that helped you sort a few things out and helps you to become a better leader.

Either that or this is another one of my useless rants....

Kensal, I have found being a Guild Leader has left my game play on my chr lacking with working with other guilds to set up unrated matches which build morale and friendships across the guilds. Working on our website has also taken a bit of my time up as well.

The only thing I can tell you that will help you out more than anything else is make sure your officer(High Council) have the same vision for the Guild as you do. This will help during those time you have to post on other forums and work on guild items offline.

While working offline if you use a voice over ip program ( ie..TeamSpeak) you can talk to clan mate as you work. Which is what I do when setting up matches. This also gives them a chance to give input aswell.

Remenber one thing about being a guild leader this is a game and meant to be fun. The things you do as a guild leader are so that your mates can enjoy the game more.
