Jib uncheck all the chats and you've got your self single player.

The best part is you can jump your char into multiplayer just be re-checking them.

Unless I'm specifically looking to help people I uncheck my trade and all chat so I don't have to hear

sometimes moron aren't kids. they're adults but they are jerks. i have nothing against kids. some kids play like adults. playing at a later hours tho get rid of many kids. and it's summer time. they stay up late

Jibikao, sometimes it seems as though no one answers. However, I prefer to whisper answers so that it all doesn't get mixed up and add to the nonsense going on in the all-chat.

And I'm probably as old as the two of you put together, AND I've never played an online game before last week. I know what you mean with the bad thoughs, although, those people fade with progress through the game... In ascalon, pre, and post it is just as bad but nearer he end of the game people are generally v friendly and helpful. I mean, i ask someone to take me some where they do. I don't mean a lil run, like a full blown map run taking about an hour.

I just recommend playing and see what you think later.

I will give you a pm if your on some time, i'll help

Hey folks. Just wanted to thank you all again. I'm starting to get the hang of it a little bit AND I made a friend! I now have a pet, some sort of tiger or something who I call "Sparky" (I CHARMED the crap out of him BTW, he didn't have a chance lol) who, I might add, is very helpful in fighting. I also just upgraded to a better bow by using my ID and salvage kit too. I have some iron ingots, (whatever they do), and some hide, (whatever that does), so it's "gettin better all the time" as the Beatles say! Lets see if anyone remembers that song.

Oh, and I made 200G by selling some blue dye I found too so I'm fabulously wealthy as well!

Hang on to your dyes in pre searing, they are worth a lot more once you get to post sear (after you ditch you training wheels so to speak).

Fezz - welcome to Guildwars.

Glad you are now getting on better with it. The Iron Ingots and Hides are materials that you can exchange, along with gold for better armour. There's a couple of armourers in the level right after training (Post Searing Ascalon) where you can get better armour.
