Can anyone give me a price to sell this staff for? - Guild Wars Forums

I am confused on how pricing goes, and on which stat + on weapons are good, so can anyone just look at this staff and tell me a good price to sell it for?

Well, those are some very nice mods. The problem is the staff requires 13 smiting to use, and the mods are for air. So, to utilize this staff you need to be a mo/e, who specs in air magic...not likely at all. Because a smiting/aero monk is so rare, this staff isnt worth much. You can always post it on the trade forums here, auction it and see what you can get for it. But I wouldnt hold your breath for any high prices. Sorry.

the wraping for the air magic would be most pricy out of the few mods... so if you were able to obtain that air magic staff wrapping... you could sell it for quite some $... it would probably be better idea to sell it to someone cheaper for them to try to salvage that air staff wrapping instead of salvaging it on your own... as if you fail, you just wasted some $ in gambling.

I really think they should fix this issue of staffs having different requirements, than bonuses. As it is now no staff you find is ever usable or sellable for that matter. I think they should keep req and bonus tied to the same class of attributes.

That's a weird staff. Req. smiting, +air magic, increases WATER skill recharge. I highly doubt there's someone who does smiting, air, and water, so I don't know how much that would be worth.

I have the same delema with a staff....but mine is for necro/mes.. it has req. of 10 curses with a fast cast using blood magic and + 1 to illusions (20%).... and i cant find anyone that wants the damn thing even though its max damage. it gets a little redick-u-less with the staff req. and specs sometimes... i got lucky with the staff that i am using right now though.... max dam w/ fast casting and recharge time (both 20%) using blood w/ + 30 health and +5 energy(rare)... lucking as in finding it.....>)
