Spell Interupt+Backfire Question: Does Backfire still damage the caster?
Hello
Just a quick question for my R/Me. If I use Backfire on a target, will I still do damage when I then interupt the spells being casted ( through Various Mesmer and Ranger interupts) or will the act of interupting the spell also stop the damage from Backfire. Thank you |

Yes ,you will still do damage with interupts. I am not sure that Backfire works as soon as the enemy starts casting a spell, or when the spell goes off. So backfire and interupts might not actually work together.

Backfire triggers when the spell is cast, so therefore if you interrupt the spell in the middle of a cast, backfire will not affect the target.
