Life Bond change? - Guild Wars Forums

I tested the Life Bond spell today with my friend at some mobs.
The mobs were casting Lighning Orb (Sanctum Cay mission).

Life Bond didnt work at all. In enlgish info text says:
...whenever target other ally takes damage from an attack, half the damage is redirected to you. ...

In german it says:
half of the physical damage will be transfered to...

Since the damage from the Lighning Orb isnt transfered at all it seems that the german info is correct.
My problem is that i could swear, that all types of damage was transfered before.

Did i miss any patch notes where this was changed or was it allways my imagination that spell damage was transfered too?

I believe "from an attack" qualifies only physical or -weapon- damage attacks :/

Lightning Orb does not count as an attack. In fact, no spells count as attacks; only attack skills and the normal weapon attack count as "attacks."
