I have enough money for fissure armor, but I don't know what the little hides are that are shaped like charr hides? Could someone please inform me on what they are.

The requirements for fissure armor correlate to the requirements at the grotto/citadel + ectoplasms and shards. So check those out then just add the shards to the price to find out what you need.

Yeah I did, but I think there was a patch that changed the picture of whatever is needed. Because the most recent picture of all the armor I could find is from January. Which is 7 months ago. So 28 updates have come, and I dunno what that hide type material looks like.

Well, if your at the trader with said armor, just mouse over the picture of the hides, and it sould tell you. I think thats what you mean but I may be mistaken.
