upgrade compononents drop(ever)?
i have been playing the game for a long time now and never seen an upgrade component dropping after a battle. how do you get upgrade components then? or is there a trader or sth that sells 'em? How do those ppl who sell them get their hands on these upgrades? Or is it me just being soooo unlucky? Thanks...

Upgrade components come from blue or above weapons.

Ya, you just use an Expert Salvage Kit to extract the upgrade components from Blue and above weapons.

Yes, use expert salvage kits. Keep in mind the salvage may fail and you'll end up with crafting materials. This is normal.

You have to expert salvage the weapon that has a mod. If there are two mods, im not sure if you get both or one, but that is how you get them.

thnx a lot... 1 last q b4 u go mad guys: there is a none-classified type of upgrade type for bows (ex: +20% dmg for bows, - 10 armor). Is there an upgrade item type that gives this addition too (as they are not under strings and grips)

Oh I had a sweet one last night, but of course the salvage failed and I was stuck with wood planks... first time salvaging for an upgrade has failed for me.

Yeah, not sure if you got this or not. Some blue and above weapons will not have upgrade components on them. To tell for sure, after you identify the item, look at the name. If it has a prefix or a suffix, then it has an upgrade. So just because you are looking at a bow with some sort of modifier, doesn't mean that there is a string or grip on it, the name will tell you that.
