do shadows rangers "cheat"
Why is it that a shadow ranger/impaler can fire a shadow bow twice as fast, four times as far and for ten times the damge I can ? Aslo why do they chase you when your the other side of the mini map to them.

He is talking about the Ranger Mobs in Fissure of Woe. The Shadow Rangers there try to do straight up damage and the Impalers like to set traps. Other than that, I do not know what you mean by "cheat".

I think that Shadow rangers are lvl 28ish (will have to check). At that lvl they would have alot more att. points, I figure lvl 21-25 15pts = 75pts then lvl 25-28 20pt (should get more after 25 as you do after 10 maybe) =60pts
So they have (guessing) 135 more attribute then us, letting them max out more skill lines, so combining them for greater affect. Just assuming they work the same what our charc. do. |

Iirc, they have the advantage of height most of the time, which adds bonuses to their damage and (I think) range. Otherwise, they probably have stances/preparations which increase attack speed.

Height increases range, and stances will speed up your attacks significantly. They aren't doing anything a smart ranger couldn't do with the right set of skills. |

Shadow Rangers are level 28- meaning they get a big bonus in damage for level difference- just like you would when attacking a level 12 enemy. Along with the higher level comes higher attributes- so they likely have a very high marksmanship attribute to pump up their barrage damage. I'm sure they probably use something like Tiger's Fury for the attack speed as well, and they've got the height advantage on you most of the time, giving a longer attack range, and a damage bonus from that as well.
In any case, it's kinda useless to complain about high-level enemies being stronger than any normal character can be- Why can't every warrior do the same damage as an Aatxe from the Underworld, or elementalists throw out 200+ damage fireballs like some enemies?

What you need is a bot that matches the NPC's cheatiness, then you can just see which puter can outsploit the other, waging a furious war while the playerbase is asleep at night and merely dreaming about GW.
