R/ what? Traps! Markmanship!
i just created a Ranger.
I want this one to be good i markmanship and with traps, so i dont put anything on beast mastery. All i wonder is what i should pick as second? This one is suppose to do much dmg. What do you think? |

I personaly love haveing Elemental as my secondary, nothing like having lightning strike and chain lightning to liven up the situation(chain lightning is available at Maguma Stade outpost skill trainer)
Also I have a Ranger/Mesmer that I have alot of fun with, maybe aswell you should think about Monk as secondary, those would be my choices |

I made a ranger/necro. The necro line has so many choices for skills for extra damage, support, heals, etc.
Another option that I looked at was ranger/mesmer, but since I had mesmer for sub for my monk I didn't whant to unlock the same skill twice. Also ranger/elementalist is a good option. Also remember that Wilderness Survival has 2 healing spells for ranger class. Last edited by rotor; Jul 09, 2005 at 04:29 PM // 16:29.. |

If you want damage:
R/Mo (Smiting) for Judge's Insight (and maybe Strength of Honor) R/N (Curses) for Barbs, or Mark of Pain (and maybe even weaken armor) R/E (Air/Fire/or Water) for Conjure (Element) |

Expertise reduces the costs of all Attack Skills, Preparations, Traps, Stances, Rituals, Glyphs, and Shouts by 4% per attribute level.

R/Mo works well if all you want is a pure ranger. It's what I use it for -- Expertise/Marksmanship/Wilderness Survival, plus Ressurect.

I love my Ranger/necro. I mainly run straigh ranger though. I take the necro skills more for the creature with insaine AC. Ranger/Warriors are suppose to be pretty good, since Expertise applies to all attack skills its quite nice to have close and ranged attacks.

I am runnning a Ranger/Warrior and can confirm they are a good choice! Getting the choice between a ranged bow attack and a melee attack is invaluable! |
