Guild Lord gankage - Guild Wars Forums

So my guild hasn't GvG'd in about a week, no idea what's going on with tactics. We're 29-3 so we begin the match and the other team just runs around and uses Grenth's to try to gank our Lord, thankfully someone killed the people ganking, but it was close. The next GvG, we ran into the same situation. Won, but they tried to gank so we were looking out for it. Third GvG, we play on the Druid island and have no idea what we're doing, we get our lord killed because the other team ran right for him. so now we're 30th because we got ganked. What happened to people actually FIGHTING in GvG? It's ridiculous, every team we faced, about 5, attempted to gank our lord in the beginning.

The only goal in a GvG battle is to kill the guild lord. Fighting the other team's players is a means to that goal, but not the only one.

Why bother if you can use spellbreaker/MoP on your Grenth assasins and laugh all the way home?
