Is Garfazz tough or is it me?
Hey all.
Been playing as a R/N and at level 12. I was in Piken Sq and got the kill Garfazz Bloodfang quest. This thing is driving me freakin nuts! Now granted, it could just be because I'm no good at the game, (and probably is lol!), but I have completed the save the Duke's daughter and numerous other quests in that area for a lot more XP points using just henchies. Last night I tried some real people and we still failed the thing twice. I always get to the end, and then there's like 20 level 8 Charrs around (seems like thousands LOL!). Today I finally killed the Shaman near the end using henchies, but was immediately pummeled right afterwards. Is there some strategy I'm missing or something? Thx for any help |

Hey Fezz try pulling one group back to your location at a time. Use a longbow for its range hit one char and let them come at ya then back away slowly so they get seperated form the group.

then i turn and RUN before it lands which increases the chance of me getting away if the whole bunch come instead of just a few. if a bunch come some of them usually drop out as you go along and if enough drop out before you hit the zone you can turn and kill them rince and repeat |

the key is to pull the charr in small groups at a time, unless as lifeinfusion said, that you come back as a lvl 20.

and if your level 20, (and assuming you have max armor) just stand in the middle of them doing the laugh emote.

Thanks for all the tips guys.
You know how I finished it? That's right! I hung around Piken and this guy that was a level 20 mo, gave me a hand with a couple of henchies. It was still tough, but with his very able assistance, we got it done. |

I thought this quest was pretty easy with my level 12 Elementalist...I just go in and hit my AOEs. There's about 6-8 Charr around the boss. I thought I was done for, but then about 6 of them all dropped dead at once and I was good from there. I did notice it was much more difficult with my Ranger, though...had to wait a couple more levels to do it with that job.
