This may be a stupid question but...

How do you get ranks? I thought it was by getting fame, but didn't they get rid of fame and replace it with faction? Please answer.

no they never removed fame. in order to gain rank, you have to gain fame. when you get a certain amount of fame, you go up a rank.

They did not get rid of fames. You still get it from winning maps in tombs. Ranks still exist as well.
