I loaded Awaken the Blood as the first slot, and then 4 large sacrifice spells and left the other slots open. DO NOT take *any* life-stealing or healing spells! EDIT: Here are some good spells to use: Dark Fury 17% Order of Pain 17% Order of the Vampire 17% Defile Flesh 20% Enfeebling Blood 17% Blood of the Master 10% Verata's Aura 33% Verata's Gaze 16-67hp Verata's Sacrifice 10% (The percentage is the sacrifice the spell requires. Awaken the Blood increases the sacrifice by 50%, so 17% -> 26% and 20% ->30% and 33% ->50%) You dont need to fill your whole skill bar, but you do want to try and use spells that will cause a 100% sacrifice in total. I just noticed that you could beat your Doppel by just using two spells! Awaken the Blood Verata's Aura The second time he casts Verata's Aura, he will die! I had a Mo/N and it took me about 13 trys until I asked around. The thing to do is, bring Healing Breeze and Banish; THATS IT. The dople cant use healing breeze, so run around in circles so he uses the bow. Cast healing breeze to maintain it and banish when it is done recharging. You wont get the bonus but its definately a way to pass it.

I don't have either of these skills. Would you be willing to sign on to my character and give it a try?

A lot of the skills you guys mentioned (Scourge Healing, Price of Failure, etc) aren't available until AFTER ascension.
Push up your healing, and equip Healing Breeze. Mirror Self will never cast it. Bring Life Attunement. Mirror Self will cast it on himself, weakening his attack. Bring any skills with health sacrifices. He'll repeatedly spam them, cutting off valuable chunks of his HP without any means to restore them. Don't bring direct healing, don't bring Strip Enchantment, and keep Healing Breeze on at all times and then just attack him to death while he spams health sacrifices. A common tactic was to bring Deathly Swarm and spam it, but so does he, and his hits much much harder. I sure wouldn't trust anybody I didn't know personally with my username and password. I'm trustworthy, I'd do it for you, but what assurance do you have that I'm not a thief out to get you? -sam For those N/Mo with access to advanced skills, try this: Price of Failure Aegis Retribution Insidious Parasite Life Attunement Enfeebling Blood Scourge Sacrifice Healing Breeze Push up curses and smiting. Cast: Price of Failure, Aegis, Retribution, Insidious Parasite, Scourge Sacrifice, Healing Breeze. Get up close so he pulls out his fast weapon. If he misses (Price + Aegis) he takes damage. If he hits (Retribution + Insidious Parasite) he takes damage. If he casts (Enfeebling Blood + Scourge Sacrifice) he takes damage. Don't even attack him, just stand still and let him die. Of course, if you are very frustrated as you would be if you failed the fight so many times, I suppose you have somewhat justification though it would benefit you to focus more on the positive encouragment to defeat him rather than despair and pout. Quote:
With that many skills missing, I have a feeling you were rushed and simply didn't get any of them in quests. I may be mistaken about the rushing, but you certainly missed many quests. Skill trainers sell many of these skills, though the quests are more cost-effective in my opinion, you can simply get a few of these skills mentioned. As for more help as you are, tell us what skills you DO have. |

I would recommend just going back to get the skills the others have mentioned. Don't give up just because you can't ascend.
Some other skills: Blood Ritual *(Henge, Quarrel) `17% Defile Flesh *(Lion A) 20% I'll try it for you if you trust me. IGN: Ashton Evelgest |

It took me 3 tries to beat my mirror with my N/Mo... what i wound up doing is ditching ALL healing spells (except for the blood magic stuff). Basicaly you want to DOT him to death as well as use your wand on him... He will do the same to you and it will be very close, I think I had like 8 hp left when i beat him, in fact, I died right after he died (but I still completed the mission).
You don't have to beat him by a long shot, just by 1 hp so use your DOT spells and melee. Some of it is chance in terms of dmg, but after a couple tries you should beat him with no problems. |

If you are a N/Mo, and you dont have some of the sills yet mentioned
You can choose these. awaken the blood dark pact blood renewal defile flesh symbol of wrath retribution life attunement you should DEFINETELY have these by now if you are at the point of Acsencion. if not than I dont know how you got to the thirsty river mission. anyways, it will take you about 15 secs if you do it this way. right off the bat cast retribution, and life attunement. run up to the mirror and cast symbol of wrath, my smiting was at 9 I think doing 22 dmg per sec after casting symbol step back and he'll die casting other spells sacrificing himself quickly. |

I beat my mirrior with my Mo/R by equipping useless crap, like nature rituals that take forever to cast, heal other, ect....NO DAMAGE or HEALING spells. However, I did discover a devious little trick. If you look at divine boon, It just enhances your healing spells right?? WRONG. It has a nifty side effect of healing you like 23 pts, BUT, the dopple doesnt use spells except for their primary function, so if you look at Divine boon, its useless to him, but every so useful for you for a quick HP boost.
But anyway, lots of nature rituals (like Muddy Terrain, ect, but nothing that enhances damage) Heal other, and the like, and Divine Boon (rofl). I used a Max half moon and beat him in 1:30. And you mentioned that you dont have Banish??? WRONG, it is a basic monk spell right along with the Bane Signet. You do have it, you just either dont see it or are wanting somone else to do it for you. If you cant beat the final ascention on your own, your not ready. Go farming, skill capping, whatever. But I agree, that if you cant beat the dopple, your not ready to ascend. Just try taking on some Mursaat before infusion........(I hated Mursaat, stupid "Special Agony") |

with my Mo/N ... I loaded a few sacrifice spells and smiting skills and whooped his butt in 13 seconds. i also logged onto a guildies account and did it for him too ... but I wouldn't recommend handing out your confidential information.
Only thing I can say to you is ... your either gonna beat him fast with the skills all have listed or your gonna die and he will barely survive. I do recommend warping back and getting some more skills because you obviously have quite a few ... talk to Firstwatch Sergio in Lions Arch get those skills, go to Ascalon Settlement (north of Lion's Arch) and talk to Captain Greywind, get his skills ... Master Scout Kierra in Henge of Denravi has more skills for you ... look into your quest log and look for quests that have skills for rewards. You will need these skills regardless later at least just to unlock them for future use. Take your time, get the tools needed, and life will be alot easier on you. |
