Question about stances - Guild Wars Forums

I've tested this a few times, but wanted to verify with others... When you activate a stance, does it remain active until AFTER your next skill is used succesfully? ie: will a defensive stance protect you through the casting of a spell, and then deactivate upon a successful casting?

Unless otherwise specified by "this ends if you use a skill" stances are only overwritten by other stances.

And yes, once the skill ends casting the stance ends.

The stance will end as soon as you finish casting the spell successfully.

Stances all have a time frame. Most of them go until that time limit is over. So only last until a condition is meet. Read what the stance says and You'll know.
